Grapeseed oil is extracted from the grinding of seeds found in grapes, the fruit of the vine. Once considered a waste of the winemaking process, the use of grapeseed oil is rather recent. Even if grape juice was already used in the 17th century at the Court of Louis XIV, where aged wine was applied to the face to give a good complexion, it was much later that the previously unsuspected virtues of its small seeds contained in the fruit and the oil that can be extracted from it, were discovered. First in cooking then, for cosmetics, because of its benefits for the skin.
Extracted by cold pressing from grape seeds, this oil is very rich in essential fatty acids, including omega 6 and 9, as well as polyphenols, molecules rich in vitamin E, which have the property of strengthening the natural protection of the epidermis, but also to fight against free radicals responsible for skin aging. This oil with antioxidant properties is also a moisturizing and protective oil for the skin.
Due to its composition, it offers a "peachy" complexion to those who adopt it. The omega-6 it contains are also good lipid-replenishers which protect the epidermis from dehydration.
